What’s new in the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback?
Toyota had a lot of impressive stuff to show at this year’s New York International Auto Show (NYIAS). With new models such as the most recent iterations of the popular RAV4 and Yaris on display, the automaker also debuted the newest addition to their lineup: the 2019 Corolla Hatchback. So what’s new in the 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback?

Set to replace the Corolla iM, Toyota is revamping their hatchback lineup with the additions of the all-new Corolla Hatchback. The new hatchback model will be available in two distinct trim levels with the SE and XSE grades and will also be the first North American model to offer the new Toyota Safety Sense 2.0 suite of technologies.
When designing the new 2019 Toyota Corolla Hatchback, the team at Toyota wanted to make the new model robust, but still agile. With this in mind, the new hatchback offers a high-function, dynamic design with a wider stance and longer wheelbase than the Corolla iM.
When it comes to performance, the new 2019 Corolla Hatchback will come standard with a new TNGA 2.0-liter, 4-cylinder engine along with a 6-speed iMT manual transmission. This system features a Dynamic-Shift CVT, which allows for more power and efficiency. Performance is further enhanced thanks to the sport-tuned suspension with the new TNGA Platform.
While riding in the new hatchback, passengers also have access to the standard Entune 3.0 Audio system and 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system. This also allows for features such as Wi-Fi Connect, Amazon Alexa Integration and Apple CarPlay compatibility.
