Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles Celebrates 20th Anniversary

Tuesday, August 23rd, 2016

According to Toyota Certified Pre-Owned Vehicles, “The best new cars make the best used cars.” Here at Apple Valley Toyota in Maryland, we know that couldn’t be truer. With special deals, great service, and a variety of new and pre-owned Toyota vehicles, we look forward to helping our customers get the most out of their Toyota experience.

Buying pre-owned can make buyers apprehensive about the quality of vehicle they are getting, but with Toyota cars, you can rest assured your car will be in top shape when it leaves our lot. The Toyota Certified Used Vehicles (TCUV) program, launched in 1996, is devoted to giving you peace of mind with a variety of inspections and warranties. You’ll get a “like new” vehicle at a pre-owned car price.

In the last 20 years, TCUV has sold approximately five million certified pre-owned Toyota cars, offering a 160-point quality assurance inspection, seven-year/100,000 miles limited powertrain warranty, one-year, 24-hour roadside assistance plan, and a 12-month/12,000 mile limited comprehensive pre-owned car warranty.

The TCUV program is available at over 1,200 participating Toyota dealers across the country, allowing for a great Toyota car no matter where you live. More secure than traditional pre-owned car options, Toyota ensures quality, dependability, and reliability for new and pre-owned vehicles.
With a good balance of mileage, model/model year, and vehicle condition, pre-owned cars can give a bang for your buck. Buying pre-owned can provide you with a great deal on a relatively new car or an older vehicle for cheap with a few scratches, tough enough for a new driver. Add in the insurance costs you can save and the freedom to upgrade without high car payments, pre-owned may be the route for you.
